A Remarkable Debut
author: Six Flick
Not since the days of Morrissey has a songwriter found the balace between unique lyrical style and beautiful musical arrangements that echo the aching of days gone by: Scott Magri does it on his Bullycide EP with the ease of a seasoned pop star. This CD will only keep you wanting more: the songs are catchy and the lyrics spark hidden thoughts and passions from deep inside your heart. Scott Magri and the Rubber Band having something in the making that bands don't possess these days: they play music that makes you feel like it could be from another time, but is so refreshingly new. Only one way to describe it: Timeless. Looking forward to the full album!
