On CFW, there's all the crunching tube tone, wailing wahs, and frantic, fretnastic flailings the human ear can stand. If you dig a single SM57 off-axis to a 4x12 cab, with some inspired playing through 120 watts of burning tubes, then get ready to tantalize your lead-lick, lustful needs, as they delight over hard rock carnage and coalesce with fat melodic hooks, broad stroke sonic textures, and a sprinkle or two of experimental/jazz/fusion elements. All musicians can unite as these audio rantings are fully supported by plenty of bass-pounding foundation against exciting, palpitating percussion interplay.

A little bit about guitarist SCOTT MOTYKA:

"I’ve been at finding my voice and trying to get what’s inside, outside, using 6 strings pulled to tension for the better part of about 25+ years now. The guitar continues to inspire and amaze me every bit as the day I first heard her. I’m a bit of an eighties leftover, Olympiad-like in my earliest training and shred-a-licious in all my glory, with that, you'll find I'm always peaking into the rearview attempting to distance myself from those very same roots. Today, I'm most about conviction and trying to keep things real. I treasure organic tone, the kind that only burning tubes can provide. In my artistic pursuits, whether it be performing, recording, or teaching, I'm always searching for that next 'improvisational transcendence' - that moment when, during a solo, for just a short period of time, you elusively rise above the structure, beyond the notes, -and at once.. ...become the moment."
