From yesterday to today

I recently received my copy in the mail and I have to say this: It kicks ass! One of my favorite songs is "The Edge is Gone" and I was informed it's a song that pre-dates his Unknown Rider CD (which I also have and have worn out and had to have another copy--twice).
At first, I didn't like the newer sounds--it was so different. But that's what makes this lead singer so great: his ever-changing sound. I never get bored with what he's doing. It's never the same and he's done that again with each song on this album. I'm not going to compare it to any other artist because, quite frankly, Scott Severin and his band are label-resistant and it would be unfair.
I can honestly say that if one buys this album, they will not regret it!

A great listen in the soulful tradition of Bob Dylan meshed with an edgier rock feel. Much attention has been paid to the lyrics. I suggest a listen to this fine work.
