Album Notes

We are a five piece band hailing from the upper reaches of NY known as the North Country. Ever been here? Not many people. Lots of land. Lots of cows too. We don\'t have any songs about cows though. And as far as we know the practice of cow tipping is a rural legend. Probably propagated by urban folk as part of their overall campaign to denegrate rural folk. Not that we are bitter. This is not a red state blue state thing. Cow tipping just doesn\'t happen. Cows are too smart and wily for that sort of thing. And they can move surprisingly fast. Now turkeys. They\'re dumb. The domestic ones. Not the wild ones. I doubt you could sneak up on a domestic turkey and tip it over though. Turkeys have reportedly drowned in the rain. Or maybe that\'s just another rural legend propagated by rural folks to make urban folks feel better about themselves. When times are tough you can always say, \"Well, at least I\'m not as dumb as a turkey.\" Better take an umbrella just in case. Oh, and buy our CD.
