Album Notes

"Motorbikes, Rock 'n' Roll & Speed" "Raw, impassioned songs that will resonate with fans of Albert Records era AC/DC" - Classic Rock Magazine Rocking Scoundrels - Blazing guitar driven rock 'n' roll inspired by AC/DC, The Who, Slade and most everything in between, the Rocking Scoundrels deliver the goods. Featuring fellow British cohorts Dave Haynes on vocals/guitar and Darren Edwards on drums, the Scoundrels line up is completed by US born bass player Brian "Chewy" James. The result; a power trio who draw on a stellar combination of unforgettable classic rock influences and the wild abandon of punk rock! "Blazing guitar driven rock 'n roll, inspired by the Faces, Clash and Who...with thumping bass, and drums that would make Keith Moon proud, no holds barred - Los Angeles by way of UK" - Dumb Angel Magazine “Pretty Damn Good!”– The Rockit; LA’s only Rock ‘n’ Roll Newspaper "From note one, these guys deliver a straight-up, high-energy take on classic rock like AC/DC, THE WHO, and SLADE. The vocal harmonies are sweet, the production crisp...it seems like only yesterday these guys came out with their debut, and now they’ve got three killer albums under their belt" - Peacedogman.com. “The Rocking Scoundrels sound as if they were one of the great ’60s garage-band’s plucked from Hollywood youth cinema of the day. The pulsebeat and unrestricted singing gives charge to songs of personal freedom and social revolt. It makes me wish that films like The Cool Ones, The Trip and Riot on Sunset Strip were still being made. The Rocking Scoundrels would find their perfect foil amongst such coolness.” - Brian Chidester (Freelance journalist & documentary filmmaker) "The Scoundrels were once again, unleashing a show that would energize both the hardcore and mainstream rock scenesters. Their sound soars above the predictable mainstream punk and/or rock and delivers us from the presumptuous into another dimension" - All Access Magazine "This is one seriously cool band, no qualifiers, just cool!" "Take no prisoners rock and roll...awesome guitar riffs, too" "The guitar player rocks, the drums thunder their way through, and the vocals kill" - MSN discussion group the "WORLD OF ROCK 'N' ROLL" ------------- Other Rocking Scoundrels CDs available at CDBABY: 1. Never heard of these lads before. Found a link to them on the AC/DC Convention website - bought this album. A refreshing change! A proper rock n roll band with hints of the Who, AC/DC & Slade. My fave was I Wanna Know Her Name. There is even a mention for the Ace Cafe! There songs are good time, with chorus' that stick in your head. Well done lads!!

Fantastic full-on rock 'n' roll
author: Dion Mytum
A great follow up to the band's previous and equally great first two albums. An inspired motorcycle theme throughout, beginning with the brilliant opening track 'I wanna ride' mixed with some classic Rock 'n' Roll as in 'Baby please'. The band then continue to show off their musical ability with an awesome cover of The Who's 'Sparks' and the rocking 'Subterfuge' as Bonus Tracks.
