The title track of the album related to an experience of the singer, Sterling Selover, as he spent New Years of 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. The track captures his memories of the trip and he wanted to create a visual representation as well as an emotional connection to the listener of what a "Great Escape" is all about.
There are many songs about modern themes and issues including current political situations and modern love stories.
With the addition of their keyboard player, Scott Lewis, SFC has really started to experiment out of the traditional box of rock and roll and really embrace electronic music.
