Warning:If you are looking for "feel good" Gospel songs for "itching" ears, this is not for you.I try to write bible based truths that point the listener to the most important person in their life,Jesus.I want you to look at Jesus and ask yourself "am I living my life in a way that would be pleasing to Him".If you are a true Christian, you have nothing to fear from these songs,if you are back sliding, some of these songs may challenge you, which is good if you seriously want to please God.
Hi: My name is Everett Adams, I live in Newfoundland, an island province of Canada,
surrounded by the Atlantic ocean, off Canada's East coast. As a songwriter, I was surfing the net looking for a studio to do some demos for me when I stumbled across Bill Scull Jr. I loved Bill's voice and he loved my songs, and the fact that he is a born again Christian brought me to ask him if he would record some of my songs for release on this CD,he said yes so here is the results. Listen! Storm Warning contains 22 of my songs done in a country/southern style, with songs of hope, praise, joy and encouragement, messages from God for today's world. The bible says "sing unto the Lord a new song",these are all new songs that I believe God has given me to give to the world.
Bill lives in Tampa, Florida, where he now operates a recording studio. He came to the Lord at a tender age of 11, but only became a serious Christian at 28 when God spared his life when he was involved in a serious car accident in 1993. Responding to God's mercy, Bill began working on a Gospel recording "Spiritual Mountain", which he released in 1996. At this point Bill began a music ministry that took him and his music all the way to the mission fields of Guyana, South America.
I, Everett Adams, never made a decision to accept Jesus as my Saviour until I was in my late thirty's, even though I knew about Jesus and God all my life. I have been writing song since my early teens, country, bluegrass, Christmas, novelty, etc, but I couldn't write Gospel until after I became a born again Christian, I guess I didn't know enough about Jesus and God to write about them. After I became a Christian, Gospel songs just poured out of me. God has given me several hundred or more such songs and I feel obligated to do my best to get them heard by people whom might get blessed by them. This is an expensive ministry for me to maintain and I hope I can find enough believers that will purchase this CD so I can at least recover my cost so I can release some more of the songs He has given me.
I draw your attention to number 18," The light that makes us Free," I wrote this one to commemorate the 9/11/01 attack on the USA. I wrote it to give comfort and encouragement to the citizens of your fine country in their time of need.
