Sally Doherty sings from a varied Jazz and Latin repertoire combining Brazilian samba and bossa nova, Cuban and Mexican boleros and beautiful material from the great American songbook. She sings the Latin songs in their original languages of Portuguese and Spanish. Her singing is both intimate and passionate.
Her live work has involved performances as a guest vocalist with Peter King and Neil Yates and with Alan Barnes as well as opening for Cleo Laine and Alex Wilson.
She performs at Jazz clubs an Festivals throughout the UK.

As a singer songwriter she has worked with bands from other genres. Her works include five solo CDs of her own songs which have been distributed worldwide as well as singing and writing for Planet Funk who have enjoyed numerous top ten hits all over the world. With them she has performed extensively in Europe and Australia as well as on BBC Radio 1, MTV and Italian National TV and Radio.
