Project Liberation is the soundtrack created to accompany the documentary film, "Project Liberation- My Alopecia Experience." It is the debut film from independent filmmaker, inspirational speaker and songstress, Sandra Dubose-Gibson. In this film, Sandra candidly shares her personal journey toward self love and self acceptance after losing all of her hair at the age of 25 due to the incurable autoimmune disease, Alopecia Universalis.
Written and performed by Sandra Dubose-Gibson along with some super talented music producers, Sandra says, "this music is my hearts song." It was created to encourage and inspire anyone dealing with challenges in their self esteem for any reason, especially hair loss. It contains songs like, "I'm Beautiful" which is a positive affirmation and melodious musical mantra of the importance of loving ourselves just as we are inside and out. "It's You" provides food for the soul and a loving reminder that we can be whatever we choose to be in life, set to the sounds of these sultry rich alto vocals. Sandra's lyrical wisdom is as filling as her soulful voice is soothingly beautiful. The best is yet to come from this dynamic multi-talented vocalist, so stay tuned for more from Dubose Entertainment.
