Stephen Duffin began writing songs on his brother’s guitar as an awkward teenager well before he could sing or even play.

The other worldly songs of artists such as Springsteen, Dylan and The Beatles had long captivated his imagination…being the main stay of his Father’s kitchen record collection.

On entering College Stephen met other guys of similar mind and played in a variety of bands before heading out alone as a singer/songwriter.

He travelled across Ireland busking and playing songwriter nights particularly in Galway, Derry and Dublin before heading to the USA for a brief stint round New Jersey and New York.

On returning home he recorded several demo’s before putting out his debut EP Raw Soul in 2007.

Stephen’s music has been played on several radio stations including Radio Ulster, Radio Failte and U105 and has also garnered live TV performances on Belfast community NVTV and All Ireland broadcaster TG4.

Stephen Duffin has supported John Spillane and Frances Black and continues to build his reputation as an exciting new songwriter and passionate performer.
