Album Notes

Somewhere in time between the glaring glitz of Glam-rock and perpetual parade of posteighties punks are the Sea City Dolls.
With a Master's in sex, drugs and rocknroll, front man J. "Nastie" resembles old world murdering maniac Jack the Ripper with a guitar. But never fear, Nastie's antics are only a piece of the psychotic, psychedelic puzzle. The tale of S.C.D. can only be described as a whacked Cinderella story gone bad, when at the end the whole castle explodes with everyone in it. They escaped with some burns and made a musical out of their story. They called it the "Sea City Dolls".
Always theatrical, the dolls say their devilish appearance is not unlike the hollow plastic effegies mistaken for real humans in some creepy movie. The Sea City Dolls vibe is similar to what you felt at your first real rock concert and you can never quite guess what's going to happen next.
