Sean Carney featuring Omar Coleman will tour Europe throughout September with concerts in Austria, Italy, Croatia, Belgium, France, Norway and Germany.
Omar Coleman performed with Chicago Blues legend John Primer and has recorded with Bob Stroger, Kenny Smith and Billy Flynn.
Sean Carney, as leader of The Sean Carney Band, won The 2007 International Blues Challenge & The Albert King Award and has performed and recorded with Christine Kittrell, Hubert Sumlin, Henry Gray, Duke Robillard, Little Charlie Baty, Bill Stuve, Big Joe Duskin, Jimmy "T-99" Nelson, Jimmy Thackery, Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater and many more! "Very Lucky Man" brings together two of the most dedicated and promising of the blues world's "under 40" for a mix of originals and revitalized gems from the blues tomb with Jan Roll on drums, Marty Romie on bass, "Mr. Low" Doug James on saxes, John Popovich on piano and Abdell Bouyousfi and Sam VanFossen on upright bass. This one is destined to set the bar for the next generation.
