Album Notes

This album is a gritty live stand up comedy recording with the large chunks of material taken from Sean Green's live performance at Connie's Ric Rac in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additional tracks come from various live appearances in Los Angeles, California.

Sean Green was born on Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah to proud parents Tom and Lisa. His family moved to upstate New York where sister Alyssa joined the Green clan, then Denver Colorado where his brother Chuck was born before his parents decided to head back to their hometown Bethlehem, PA. Sean attended Freedom High School where he spent his days listening to the Grateful Dead, watching the Philadelphia Eagles lose and cracking wise with his friends. During high school Sean worked at his Uncle’s hardware store where he became determined to find a career he was passionate about and began focusing on comedy. Sean released his first comedy cd while still in high school, which contained some rap parodies about facial hair and stand up skits ranting on Abercrombie and Fitch. Sean graduated Freedom High School in 2001 and began perusing a degree in communications at Penn State. It was at Penn State where Sean began his comedy radio career, doing on air shifts at the campus radio station the Lion 90.7. Two years in at Penn State at the age of 20, Sean decided to go all in on his comedy dream packing up his 1991 Ford Escort station wagon and heading to Los Angeles. Knowing no one Sean began living at a Hollywood youth hostel while working as a production assistant at Entertainment Tonight. Sean began hitting the open mic scene hard, while finishing his degree at Cal State Northridge and working odd jobs. Sean began gaining success in Los Angeles, creating The Comedy Garage (underground comedy club started in their garage) with his friends, shooting a pilot with Spike TV and starting his own comedy podcast The Green Room with Sean Green. The Green Room has had a plethora of hilarious comedians and some big name celebrities including Adam Carolla, Jim Breuer and even JWoww. Sean performs all over Los Angeles including the Hollywood Improv, The Downtown Independent and The UCB Theater.
