Sean Hogan has outdone himself once again. His last cd, Over and Over again, was definitely a step in the right direction, but this CD, Guitar Strings and the Memories is the destination that I believe Mr. Hogan was trying to get to. Each track on this album is a must listen. There's such a variety of music on this beast that there's something for everyone. It starts out with one of my favorite tracks, "Last Chance" which to me is like Sean claiming his territory in your ears, saying, "Hey, I'm here, I'm angry, and I'm going to tell you about it, now listen!" Then, after he has your attention, he comes in with "Keep it In" and basically says, let's party!!! There's so much good music on this CD that I can't possibly talk about every song. It all ends with a 16 minute, 15 second epic song influenced, in my opinion, by Pink Floyd. Don't worry, there are some slow songs on this CD, and they are all soothing to the ears. My top 5 favorite tracks in no particular order are: Last Chance, Never Leave, Take It Or Leave It, The Warming House, and Guitar Strings and the Memories. It all sounds great Sean, keep up the good work!
