Sean Reed was born a native of the "Show Me" state of St. Louis, Missouri. He came up from a musical and talented family of three brothers, three sisters and a nurturing mother and father. It was no surprise that Sean soon would pursue his passion for music. Every since the tender age of five, Sean could always be seen by family and friends emulating the music genius of Sam Cook and Michael Jackson. When gospel insiders witness the cultivating vocals of Sean Reed, they are listening to the soulful and mentoring sounds of the Temptations, Donny Hathaway, and Stevie Wonder.

Through his music he has and will continue to reach the unsaved and minister the gospel. Sean has ministered before thousands and his concerts and stage performances are electrifying, piercing the hearts of people all across the nation. Sean has been blessed to open up for some of the largest names in gospel music such as: Tonex, Out of Eden, Donald Lawrence, Bobby Jones, Vickie Winans, Rodney Bryant, Angela Spivey, The Canton Spirituals, Lee Williams & The Spiritual QCs, and Tamela Mann. Not only is he a gifted vocalist, but an awesome songwriter.

In May of 2004, Sean wrote and produced his first independent project entitled Maybe So. The project blessed many people, and the title track, "Maybe So" immediately became a classic hit with his fans. Anticipation of the next project grew with his fans and in January of 2005 he released his second independent project Impossible. This project features the soul-quenching songs "Don't Let Go" and "Overflow". His third release is entitled The Next Dimension Of Worship and is not only predicted to receive a nod for both Stellar and Dove Awards but is proclaimed to be his major industry breakout recording, featuring the new contemporary worship & praise group, The Next Dimenzion of Worshippers (N-DOW).
