Album Notes

Fads come and go, but great music lasts forever. We all have special songs that define moments in our lives. All of our stories need a soundtrack and singer/songwriter Sean Roberts provides that for us. For Sean, it's about capturing things that we all felt at some point in our lives and to stir the inner sprit with a melody and a good story.

Raised in Whittier, California Sean's music career spans 12 years in Orange County and almost two decades in the industry alone. His original songs have earned him comparisons to Paul Rogers, The Nelson Brothers, Sammy Hagar and recently Sean has been called the West Coast Bon Jovi.

Sean has been paying his dues by opening or performing with local, regional and national acts such as The Oak Ridge Boys (Spring Hill), Arron Tippen (Hollywood) Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille (Capitol & Cyanide), Roman (Sellar), Safire (independent) and Anna Marie (independent).

The foundation for Sean's first independent release, "Stories Told & Untold" (May 2002 -Gemini Records), is a combination of material rehashed from two previous projects and brand new material. The album displays his ability to create catchy riffs and memorable universal themes. He does this by combining New York street rock, Nashville & Folk story telling, early 70's rock and Chicago style blues. Working with producers RSG and Russ Ng, Sean has successfully reconstructed the older songs while bringing life to the new material, the album offers a wide range of musical textures.

Dominating in performing shows with irresistible pop/rock songs and a knack for inventive and improvisational approach to entertaining his audience, Sean is a performer that should not be missed. No matter if he is performing in a large theater or a small club, Sean understands that his job is to not just play music, but to give his audience a full show.

Sean is finishing his second album and has started his Touch of Madness Tour which includes a Solo Acoustical Open Mic Tour, and an Acoustical Home Concert Tour. Throughout 2005 Sean will have numerous appearances at local venues, including the Orange County Fair. His is currently promoting his cd's to local media.

I thought this type of music was long gone and left for dead. It is nice to hear true American rock n roll again. These songs remind me of my youth and make me reminisce of the memories I thought I lost. I did get to see one of Sean's shows in Irvine and what a show it was. A great performer. Go buy this CD and see him live. We need more people like him.

A kind of sound we don't hear enough of! Good rock with a pop sound and a touch of blues that makes you want to get up and move and also has great lyrics to go along with the sound. The stories and the music leave you listening over and over again!

I got to see Sean live for the first time at a local show. He ws amazing. Never stopped moving on stage and is truly an entertainer. So many bands out there don't do this and he give 110% through his whole show.
