Album Notes

Second Childhood began with a couple of us playing just to play. As so often happens, the more we played the more we created outside of just jamming. The burgeoning melodies and rhythyms demanded structure, lyrics and the commitment to keep going. Five short years later, there we were in the studio. What we had envisioned as a couple of sessions with a decent rough mix as the final product kaleidascoped into a 14 month oddysey into our joint musical psyche. We had developed a vision. To realize, as best we could, this vision, we searched our local scene for the fine musicians heard on various tracks. This amalgam of individual talent became the flavor of the music. The name,"Second Childhood", is meant to address the concept of the ageless pleasure inherent within the creative process, and the beauty of collaboration, also known as sharing. We are very proud of the end result, and enthusiastically invite you to share our experience.
