Before VH1 Divas, and Broadway\'s Leadinging Ladies there was Second City Divas. Collectively the Divas are Chicago\'s brightest women stars of the musical stage. The line up reads as a who\'s who of Chicago theatre. Collectively the group boasts dozens of awards and a resume that includes Broadway*, National Tours, and every major theatre in Chicago. This, their first studio recording was met with great praise from critics and fans alike. Each woman sings from a role that they received critical acclaim for in Chicago. Some songs well known and others from lesser known shows highlighting Chicago\'s great tradition of fostering new works. A great collection of musical theatre songs from a variety of talented women!
