Samuelle and D’Lynn are siblings that have been singing together almost from birth. They both got their first exposure to the stage as teenagers in their dad’s gospel quartet the “Zionaires”. Samuelle went on to have huge success as the lead singer of the group Club Nouveau. He charted successful platinum hits such as the remake of “Lean On Me” Situation 9, “Jealousy”, Why Do You Treat Me So Bad”. In 1990 Samuelle went Solo and his first single made it to 1 on the Billboard Charts “Get With The Program/So You Like What You See”, from the “Black Paradise” album.
Now he has teamed with his brother D’Lynn who is a guitarist, vocalist and prolific songwriter who has assisted Samuelle throughout his career on several tracks. Together the two are serious students of the music produced in the 60’s and 70’s where they were heavily influenced by the music of Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Jackson Five, The Temptations, The Spinners, and the legendary Sam Cooke.
The two brothers have embarked upon a “Necessary” journey to bring through their music the essence of love and respect back to R&B. They believe that their inspiring blend of soul and R&B with their gospel roots, will ignite the soul leaving you feeling as though you have been in a time machine that has carried you back to the 60’s and 70’s, but with 21st century quality.

Get your groove on
author: James
These brotha's voices blend together so smoothly, I think they were born singing together. Their music and their expressive lyrics really marry well. These guys do a great job of covering all bases. They have a great sound with good positive messages on some tracks. Then they turn around with something to bring the lover out in you (I really like 'The Way You Make Me Feel'). They, definitely, got a "get your groove on" thing going on here. I look forward to hearing more from Secrecy.

If you don't know, now you know . . .

Got a hold of their CD from a friend that is always the first to find really good stuff. If you want to be the first to discover the next big thing . . . then you HAVE to listen to these guys. D-Lynn and Samuelle (in my humble opinion) brings a much-needed mature presence to the contemporary music. I commend them highly for creating music using a nostalgic, lyrical storytelling style that "feels" like grown-folks, inner-city music but yet, holds a refreshing 21st century flavor that my teenage daughter can appreciate. Good job fellas!
