Before The Spice Girls, TLC and Destiny’s Child, one girl-group ruled supreme, Seduction. With hits “Heartbeat”, “It Takes Two”, “Could This Be Love” and “You’re My One & Only”, the early nineties girl-band phenomenon, Seduction, controlled radio airwaves and appeared on MTV, VH1, BET, Entertainment Tonight, ShowTime at the Apollo, The Disney Channel, Live with Regis and Kathy Lee, CNN Entertainment, Soul Train and Nickelodeon, among others. They also earned many awards and recognition like a nomination for “Best New Artist”, at the Billboard Awards, an award for “Best Song” at the New York Music Awards, a certified Platinum Album and single, Two Gold Singles, 4 Singles topping Billboards Hot 100 with “It Takes Two” reaching the #2 spot for 4 weeks. Seduction has maintained an incredible fan base while opening for Lisa Lisa, Stevie B, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Vanessa Williams, Aerosmith, The Sugar Hill Gang, C&C Music Factory, RuPaul, Crystal Waters and more.
The group disbanded in the mid nineties with all the original members going there own way. April Harris, the lead singer of the group, chose to step out of the spotlight to attend college at Howard University. Now, Seduction has returned releasing a full-length album in 2004, featuring twelve new songs including the hit single “Feel Brand New”. Seduction's "All Night Long" debuted at #3 on Billboard's Dance chart, and at #6 on the R&B Hip-Hop chart. The single also found its way onto the top the Billboard top 100 chart!
