Album Notes

Seedbox is a songwriting quintet consisting of a singer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, bass guitarist and drummer. Their debut CD "Roe Chambeaux" is mixed pallete of each member's influences and musical styles. The songs range from the bassist's funky rock grooves to the rhythm guitarist's heavy melodic psychedelic jams.

All the while "Roe Chambeaux" exhibits consistently powerful lyrics and vocals backed by soaring guitar leads and solid drum rhythms. It's the meshing of these sounds that allows Seedbox's "Roe Chambeaux" to give you a unique, eclectic musical experience.

Seedbox has been desribed by Maryland Musicians magazine as a "killer band" with a CD that really "kicks". Baltimore's award winning radio personality, Kirk McKewen, called "Roe Chambeaux" a "hard jammin" effort that should "be checked out".

Songs from The CD "Roe Chambeaux" will be featured on both Mtv's Celebrity Death Match Home video as well as an Outward Bound Program to be aired on the Discovery Channel this spring.

I was in Florida and actually heard people talking about Seedbox. They are a great band, but I was shocked that people outside of the area had heard of them. Underground following, like REM in the 80's!
