Album Notes

"It's rare for me to like a band that features a cello this much," says NadaMucho.com Editor Matt Ashworth. "These guys are doing something far different than the rest of their Seattle peers."

With Seeing Blind you never know what you are going to get. If you want a taste of their musical vision, listen to a song like "Let It Go", the explosive single off of their debut full-length album "Yellow Canary".

Produced by Melissa Levi and Jason Bilyeu, "Yellow Canary" reveals their ability to craft infectious & diverse songs. "Yellow Canary" was recorded in Redmond, WA at M Studios.

So, after 10 months in the studio overcoming the many obstacles that presented themselves to the band, their musical child is now born. Now, Seeing Blind is ready to hit the road to take their music to the masses. Their upcoming West Coast "Yellow Canary" Tour is set to begin in July 2007!

Seeing Blind has been described as alternative rock with emotional intelligent lyrics, soaring melodies, and solid grooves. Influences include Jeff Buckley, The Dave Matthews Band, Frank Zappa, Rusted Root, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Ani DiFranco.

One of the best CD's I've heard in a long time

I can listen to this CD over and over again without skipping any tracks. Seeing Blind does something different with their music than any band I've heard in the past decade. The lyrics are good, the music is amazing, and their stage prescence during their live shows is indescribable. You can see how much passion they have for their music when they are playing, and you can hear it on the CD as well. Whatever the world is waiting for, Seeing Blind has got it, and it's on Yellow Canary.
