The Seeker is a recording project by independent artists Daryl Ropp and Joe Purrenhage that produces all original songs in a variety of styles influenced by the classic rock of the '60s through today. A Sample of Simple Sorts is this projects 2006 release featuring 10 new songs primarily written and performed by Daryl Ropp. The songs range from folksy pop to hard rock as well as acoustic and art rock type songs. This CD truely shows the diverse songwriting ability of The Seeker.
