A Long Way From Home- Seelie's Best Yet!
author: Paul Anshus
This is definitely Seelie's best effort to date. Musically, vocally and lyrically it's a big step forward as well as just a great album in it's own right. My personal favorites include I Care Not For These Ladies, the poignant A Long Way From Home, the almost rock ballad Elf Knight, the deeply funny Irish Fix and Bonny Portmore, which is so beautiful it hurts. I'd recommend this album to anyone who enjoys traditional music or just good music period.
