Do you love baby me is a teen pop and dance - pop song by international recording artist Selam Yilma. It is Selam's debut single from her debut album Conversation with the World 2012. Do you love me was recorded at Doppler Studios and it was written and produced by Selam and it's full of rhythm and energy.
The incredible rock guitar & lap- steel guitar is played by Steve Cunningham and the smooth but funky base is played by Emmanuel. It was mixed by the master mixer Blake Eismen and mastered by Alex Lowe at Red Tuxedo Mastering.
The single is a song about being unafraid to commit to the one you love. It refers to a girl who after waiting for some years needs her man to stand up to the plate. She wants & desires the ring, the wedding, and a beautiful family. And she is letting her love know if this is not what he wants than she would have to leave. She asks just a simple question “Do you love me baby” than tell me & show me if you do. She has repeatedly heard the words I love you but there was no action taken which always equaled to nothing.
No purpose! No growth! No foundation! So she needs him to trust and have faith in the creator, himself, and her so that they can build a loving family together. Coming together hand in hand like two little children no matter the obstacles, struggles and pain that may come, knowing that the love and friendship that they both share will never die.
A love worth dying and fighting for filled with trust, integrity, faithfulness, respect, honor, understanding, and forgiveness. And a whole lot of living, loving, laughing, dancing, playing and smiling NOW!
Selam has had a phenomenal and overwhelming response from her YouTube, MySpace and twitter fans and she thanks everyone for there love and support.
