In less than a decade, Ghana, Africa-born musician Selasee Atiase has gone from a cappella singing with buddies on a street corner in the town of Accra to having one of his infectious melody's titled “Run,” featured on one of the world’s best-selling video games Fifa2006. The story of the years between is one of determination, hard work and a relentless perseverance in the face of overwhelming odds.......

Since this great exposure, Selasee has attracted fans from all over the world: Australia, Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Poland, Ghana, France and more ......

Selasee's talent has helped him earn the prestigious honor of showcasing at MIDEM 2006.

MIDEM, the world’s music market, is unequalled in the business of music. With 40 years of experience, Midem has a rich history of launching artists’ careers. No other single event in the world can boast providing potential access to an audience of 9,300 music professionals from 92 countries. For the 2006 edition, MIDEM has teamed up with Sonicbids to offer Midem 2006 clients the unique opportunity to get their acts onstage during the tradeshow and in front of the professional audience. On the evening of January 24, Selasee Atiase will perform live at the Midem Buzz Bands in Hotel Martinez, venue Acajou, Cannes, France. at 9:15 p.m.


The song "RUN" has won 1st place in the "2005 International Song Competition(ISC)" World Music category .The winners were selected out of almost 15,000 entries from 80 countries. Judges include Sonny Rollins, Macy Gray, Tom Waits, and John Scofield.
