Selena started writing songs in the fourth grade and has been performing since she was 5 years old in musical theater and vocal performances. At the age of 9, she learned to play guitar and piano and has been writing her own material ever since.

Love & Lyrics is her debut CD featuring a variety of styles, from solo piano and vocal ballads to rock-driven melodies with her newly-formed backup band. The music for Love & Lyrics has been inspired by letting go of the past, moving on, and embracing new ideas, making the best of what you have. Some say her lyrics are beyond her years.
