Born in Milan (IT), where he studied piano and composition, he began composing when he was a child. Having fallen in love for classical and jazz music, as well as electronic and pop music, he has been working for 20 years and still works as a composer, producer, sound designer, piano and keyboards player in many different music environments: from recording jingles, soundtracks and music for multimedia, to dance and electronic productions.
On the path of his research, he developed a personal view. “It’s a mix between classical, ambient and pop” he claimed. A handiwork of piano compositions plus the wise use of various technologies that he likes to define “ soundtracks without movies”.
“The Magic Room” is his first solo album. Recorded in his own studio, it contains 16 tracks. Piano is the main hero, backed by both other keyboards and cello. Ryuichi Sakamoto, Michael Nyman and Lyle Mays are three major inspirational artists for this cd, as well as Einaudi, Allevi, Burt Bacharach’s songs and Morricone’s soundtracks.
