Howdy, folks!
This here CD's the crowning jewel of my career...so it may give you an idea of just how things have gone.
Still, my career has made me what I am today...fat, bald and broke. (Just kidding! That's my real hair in the pichure.) I did play the "Ryman," former home of the Grand Ole Opry. 'Course, it was on a Monday afternoon and the audience was just four folks from Saginaw, Michigan takin a tour. (They thought I was great!)
People was always tellin me Nashville would be callin. Well, if it did, it was a 'can-you-hear-me-now' kinda proposition, 'cause I never did hear from em. Bout all I ever got out of the record folks was a snicker. Still, here it is...my 'compliation' CD...which means the career is dead for sure.
Hope you enjoy. It'll soon be a collector's item, I recken.
Yours very truly,
Hovey-Jo Slaybuck
