David has more ideas packed into this collection than you'll find in most writers/players entire discography. Picks up where his first cd (I Just Don't Go Home) left off with songs of struggle, submission, and seduction. David writes with insight and sympathy of characters that deal with everything from the annoyances of tactless acquaintances in the song "Whatever Happened With That Girl" to rage at the loss of job, home and security in "We Don't Live Here Anymore". All these word portraits are perfectly illustrated in music by producer Ed Tree and a fabulous band that slides, twangs, crunches, and bangs in all the right places. Sure to be in the top ten of 2007 for any fan of good music.

West Coast flavored country at it's best!

There's lots of CD's coming my way but there's only a few that makes me reach for the repeat button and play the entire album all over again without using the skip button.
David Serby's new CD is this kind of product.
A great collection of rockin' uptempo tunes, traditional country shuffles, soft crying in your beer-ballads performed with a heavy backing sound and great vocals by David.
Not a filler song here, it's all in here what you are asking for.
Good value for your money here cause the album contains 15 very great country songs all written by David himself.
I am very impressed!
It's no point to pick favorites, all songs are favorites.
Don't let this album stay out of your collection if you are a true country fan!
