notes
This is the indipendent release of serene's first record, it is no longer avaliable from the band and can only be found here at cd baby until they run out of copies. Serene has since signed with the arena rock recording co., home to amazing bands such as superdrag, the gloria record, calla, the swords project, pilot to gunner, and so on. You can pick up a copy of their debut album on arena rock at their web site, www.arenarockrecordingco.com. Serene rerecorded seven of the songs off of the release avaliable here, as well as five new songs. If you dig the album on cd baby, then you will love their label debut on arena rock. Take a listen to some mp3s at www.sereneuk.com. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

This music gives hope. With its intertwining waves of clean tone guitar methodies combined with its distorted drive and overwhelming, yet soothing energy, this is definitely an album worth exploring. It's simply musical honesty at its warmest and most beautiful.
serene - beauty musically and hygenically
author: Josh Tillmani seriously love this cd. much of the melody and emotion makes me want to quit playing music. thanks a whole heck of a lot, serene.
A Soothing Journey Through Serenity...
author: ErikThis freshman effort from the band Serene is incredible. The guitars move in and out of the music with dynamic power as the driving bass sends the songs into orbit. The vocals add a simple touch which almost allows them to be lost inside the complicated melodies of the guitars. A very cool album indeed, a must have for your collection.
