Album Notes

What happened to pop-music? Where is the creative, dirty, intensive pop? Did it ever exist? And how lang can a band be ignored, that tries to change something? "Sergeant Pluck himself" was founded as solo-studio-project of mastermind Matthias Ledwinka in 2001 and has released four LPs and one EP within nine years. The attempt to perform the songs on stage too, made the project evolve to a 3-member-band. "Sergeant Pluck himself" always shifted between cosy singer/songwriter tunes and some kind of adult power pop apart the straigt main stream.
The bands new album "The Owner" is a post-modern piece of adult rockmusic with a certain appeal for catchy harmonies, striking rhythm and an intelligent dynamic production. Contemporary music for grown-up juveniles and youthful adults. "Sergeant pluck himself" provide what you might have been searching for. Just lean back and do yourself a favor.
