“Reverie is my fifth CD...Created right after Christmas 08. I was looking out my studio window and contemplated the wintery stillness that began to wrap the river into it's sparkling white mantle. My fingers were on the piano..the mics were on and I was overwhelmed by melancholy...I saw my own life slowly slipping into winter...
And yet, I felt strangely at peace as the music poured out of my fingers..I knew the water was still running under the ice and there was such beauty to this serene scenery!
I was swept into feelings of gratitude, of awe at the wondrous magnificence of the cycles of life, I saw myself as an old old man and then as a reborn baby...I felt at one with the stealhead trout I knew where resting, motionless below the ice, in deep pools...waiting for the waters to swell in spring. I sensed a powerful surge of pure love.”
