I submitted cd's for my group to CD baby and I thought for good karma i'd shop around and buy one by someone i didn't know. I searched under psychedelic and played through this one and I loved it immediately. It is like modern psychedelia, with interesting textures and water dripping sounds in weird places, strong beats, beautiful songs and beautiful guitar sounds. It's a happy and thoughtful cd, the kind you just kick back and listen to from beginning to end. I've played it every day since I bought it.

Within seconds of hitting the play button, "Abscience" sucks its listeners into a seductive, cross-pollinated sound world of spacious, liquid and swirling electronics, gurgling and rippling jazz and dream rock intermingling with exquisite compatibility. One minute, you're falling backwards through space with your eyes closed, your entire body tingling with harmonies and the next, you're squeezed through tight little rockish melodies and clever songwriting that echoes a smorgasbord of influences such as Galaxie 500 and Slowdive. But in the grand scheme of things, if texture and mood, context and backdrop are things you think about in your music, Sesam-o is one to take as your own.
