Seth Paul is a Seattle based songwriter whose songs are highlighted by upbeat arrangements that at first mask the darker stories told by the lyrics. Seth's debut album, Stepping Away, emerged from his collaboration with veteran producer, Stevie Adamek.
On Stepping Away, the jangly electric guitars and loud compressed acoustic guitars combine with a big rhythm section to create a decidedly old school British sound, which has been compared to bands such as Snow Patrol and Big Star.
The songs on Stepping Away were written by Seth, who also provided the lead vocals and guitar. Stevie Adamek provided the bass drums, keyboards, and backing vocals.
