Album Notes

Michele's musical background stems from a family that were all involved in music. She began singing at a young age "for fun" with her grandmother who had been trained in opera as a young woman, and her mother, uncles and aunt all sang and played a variety of instruments semi-professionally and professionally. As a child, in the mid 50s Michele could be seen singing and dancing on a local weekly tv show out of Newark, NJ.

In her twenties, Michele found a "call to service" with church music. As a member of the choir and accompanist for a Children's Choir she found that sacred, inspirational and spiritually based music touched her heart. Many years later she found herself involved in music again, in a variety of capacities including Music Coordinator however, this time it was in a spiritually-based environment that didn't only use traditional church music & hymns but, combined contemporary songs...some that were popular and some written by "New Thought" or "New Age" artists, all of which touched not only her heart but her soul as well. It was an environment that would ultimately inspire, encourage and empower her to begin writing songs of her own.

Michele was a member of the band "Avatar" (vocals, piano/keyboard & congas) and enjoys providing "special music" for church services.
"There Was A Song Inside Of Me" is Michele's debut CD.
