Album Notes

SEVEN-40-SEVEN San Fernando based band Seven 40 Seven is a hybrid super charged Hard rock band who's sound bridges the gap between Classic Rock, Punk and Rockabilly to create a truly unique sound as well as explosive live performances. The band's versatile style and sound is a mix of its vast musical influences. Seven 40 Seven was formed in 2001 by guitarist, vocalists Tino Franco (x- Deep Eynde, Horchata), Daniel Franco, bassist Rob Graver( Deep Eynde) and drummer Dar Larizadeh(Deep Eynde). The bands first release "Nothing Heavy" was recorded in 2003 on Ricewater Records. In 2004/2005 Franco spent time helping record The Deep Eynde's Disaster/People Like you release"Shadowland" replacing Daniel Deleon (Resurex, Lobo Negro, Calavera) and toured Europe on the "Where the Bad Boys Rock Tour" with Mad Sin, US Bombs, Agnostic Front, The Deadline and The Generators. The 2006 self titled CD "Seven 40 Seven" features a fine batch of true to form high octane American Rock and Roll . The bands music is also featured in independent films"Slammed,""From Texas To Thailand" and "Paso Robles Cruisin' Nationals 2006". Franco recruited Rob Graver to help write and record The Deep Eynde's 2007"Bad Blood", toured Europe supporting Fate Fatal as The Deep Eynde With Larizadeh in Spring 2007 with Shadow Reichenstien. Franco left The Deep Eynde after the tour. Larizadeh was recently replaced by veteran drummer Juan Sermeno aka Juanny Rotten / Hal Satan(x-Deep Eynde, Penis Flytrap, Dinah Cancer & The Grave Robbers / 45 Grave, Hollywood 77). Seven 40 Seven recently signed with Rankoutsider Records rereleased a 2008 reissue version of "Nothing Heavy" and will be releasing new album "Age Of Uncertianty" in 2009.

Refreshingly Great Rock Music!!

I recieved a copy of the self titled record from a good friend who saw one of your shows at a Southern California venue while he was on vacation. One of your singers gave him a free disk because he liked the band, which was very cool. At first I was very hesitant to listen because the quality of rock these days is seriously lacking. When I finally got around to listening it was like a breath of fresh air. It felt like Christmas had come early to NYC. This CD is the real deal Rock N Roll, and this band has the complete package great vocals, good lyrics, shreading guitars driving bass and heavy drums. The blend of musical styles was a very interesting, unique and refreshing combination. I especially enjoyed the Bauhaus cover. I will keep a look out for this band if they are ever on the east coast. I am glad to say there is something good coming out of SoCal. Keep Rockin and Rollin Seven 40 Seven.

Best drumming I've ever heard

Great vocals compounded with sick guitar solos and a thumping bass make this band a hidden jem among the slop that Los Angeles has to offer. Oh, and did I mention the drums...WOW. I could set my watch to his timing, and his fill work is reminiscent of John Bonham. Need I say more. Go out and buy this album or see them live. You'll be stoked.
