Wow! Thank goodness...dream pop is back!

In high school I was obsessed with bands like the Smiths, and Joy Division, and the Cure. Those dreamy, warm songs about shyness went away with the 90's in favor of angry, generic pseudo-metal. Well, if there's rip in space-time, that could explain Seven Color Sky. They take that 80's alt-pop / new wave sound that I LOVE and give it kinda' a modern rock tweak. This CD is absolutely beautiful! I haven't been this inspired since "Wish!"

Love everything about this album - the lyrics ,the singers voice and the guitars and keyboards - love it. The more you hear it the better it gets - it's now one of my favourite albums- slightly reminiscent of 80's new wave ,the Cure,Morrisey but the overall sound is Seven Color Sky!
