Not bad from a relatively unheard of band

I didn't know what to expect when I bought this cd, but it has been everything I could have hoped for. It has a nice grassroots reggae/ska feel that keeps you energized. This cd should get their name out a little more. I expect a lot of good things to come out of this young band.

These guys are top notch! Sounds like Sublime meets No Doutbt.

"Now that it's Over" is an amazing song that combines elements of reggae in it's verses before switching to rock on it's chorus. They also sound like Weezer at some points, like on the song Catalina. Definitely digging it!!!

Lead by singer and tunesmith Michael Berns, Seven Foot Wave...
author: CD Street
Lead by singer and tunesmith Michael Berns, Seven Foot Wave (7ft. Wave) really is “Better Than Sunshine” in this EP album debut. Breaking away from the ordinary cookie-cutter pop/rock that has seemingly clogged the radio waves across the United States, Berns is successful in combining several types of alternative rock with island sounds that range from reggae to ska. His keen ear for smooth catchy melodies is also evident as I could almost sing the entire song “Catalina,” after hearing it just one time. The rest of the band also shines as songs change keys, move to intricate half-time signatures, and explore varying dynamics.
Can’t wait for their next release!
Standout Tracks-"Now That It's Over" with additional vocals by Suzanne Eckerling
