Album Notes

The “Whole” EP is the preview of the sound that Seventh Seal will bring to the hard music scene with their sophomore album. After selling thousands of the debut album and having several singles go to #1 on several indie radio charts, Seventh Seal is looking to release their second full length cd. Each one of these three songs shows the different directions that Seventh Seal has been exploring since the release of their debut blending old school metal, ambient instrumental sections, rock, guitar solos and lyrics written around the melodies and dissonance that they are communicated through. This EP is for the fans that cannot wait for the second album to be released. After working in a new drummer, writing commenced and the second album is currently being written and planned. Yeah, this one rocks, too!!!

Well, here we get a sample of the band's new sound on the first three songs. The guitars are as metal as ever, and the vocals are updated with a screamo influenced style. The lyrics are honest, passionate, and in-your-face. The production is very high-end demo quality, but this is Travis Wyrick (Disciple, Pillar, P.O.D., Inhale/Exhale) we're talking about, so it's definitely good!!!

Well, the three new songs here show this band updating their sound with more screamo influenced vocals, and the guitars are as metal as ever!!! The production is rather demo quality, but this is producer Travis Wyrick we're talking about, so it ain't bad, it's totally sick, yeah baby!!! I love it!!!

I love it! In my opinion, the new songs are not as good as the first album, but it's still great!

The ones who like ya are guys, ya need some gentler tunes too!

Sad I couldn't stay to hear the band at Ephrata Park tonight, so looked you up online to see what I'm missing! Hope you reach the kids, the style is way too down in the depths for a grandma like me. And I grew up with Jimmy Hendrix, the Doors, Led Zepplin and Janis Joplin! Does this style really reach people for the Lord? If it does, keep playin! But I hope you will write some ballads to play between the more "rough" rockin' pieces. Think "Nights in White Satin" (Moody Blues) and "Stairway to Heaven" (Led Zepplin). Cause a lot of your audience is female. Get your wives and girlfriends to give you some ideas! Better yet, ask the Lord! He'll come through for you, He does for me! nanna_k
