The CD is fantastic, but they are even better live!
author: Owen M.
My first exposure to Seventy was hearing them live, and they really put on a great show. It has been a long time since I've been so excited by a local band, but these guys are incredible. The songs are catchy, it's true, and they really do stay with you for days on end.
Check this CD out and, if you can, see them live!

Seventy's 70's riffs ROCK!
author: Jason
Seventy's first album "Seventy" is a perfect ode to classic 70's rock. The songs are awesome...that's right I said SONGS-all of them. Traces of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and even The Beach Boys radiate throughout. But at the end of the day, Seventy is it's own thing. The lyrics are solid, the muscianship equally so. I can't praise it anymore! Buy it today.

Great fusion of new hip pop and old school style...
author: Glenn
This is simply a great CD!!!! Many of it's sounds take me back to great musical sounds of yesteryear, but are also put together with hip new style. The "Earworm" analogy is right on, as I hear myself humming these songs all day long. Buy and enjoy this CD!!!!

The 10 songs, most of them penned by bassist Harley White, reference the better aspects of middle-period Lennon-McCartney’s stylistic characteristics (strong melodies; interesting shifts between verses, choruses and bridges; topical dissections of relationships) without relying on power-pop clichés to put the songs across.
