notes
With lush male/female harmonies, well crafted melodies, and "off normal instruments," (including upright bass, banjo and accordion) Sexfresh creates memorable and emotive tunes grounded in Americana.
Based between NYC and San Francisco, the band teamed up with other fine Bay Area musicians from such bands as Bitches Brew, Aphrodesia and Japonize Elephants to create an even more produced and textured sound.
There's rockers like "Dilemma". There's groovy lounge tunes like "Love Ration" and "Bucket of Love" (found recently on the Harris Radio compilation "Bridge to Music: Indie Sounds from the Brooklyn Underground." www.harrisradio.com). There's girl rock 70s anthems like "I've Got a Feeling" and Beatlesesque pop such as "Consequences."
Sit back and this album is sure to catch you with its quirky and yet somehow altogether sensible collection of songs.

Great changeups, really like the vocals
author: Linda DaleLiked this CD enough to buy as a gift. The vocals are very good and the mixing is good also.
