Album Notes

Osian Roberts is a Welsh Tenor Saxophonist who has built an enviable reputation on the UK and European jazz scene.Steve Fishwick is widely regarded as one of the best trumpet players the UK has ever produced, having played with Anita 'o Day (recording with her on her last album 'Indestructible'),Herb Geller,Lanny Morgan,Richie Cole,Bob Cranshaw,Earl May,Lew Soloff,Clifford Jarvis,Ronnie Cuber and Scott Hamilton.
The quintet released their first album on Hard bop records 'Too much!' to much critical acclaim-

"If they could be transported back to 1960's New York, this band would upset ideas about what it takes to make a born jazz musician"Dave Gelly,The Observer.
"Could have come from any of Bob Weinstock's Friday afternoon sessions at Van Gelders"Tony Hall,Jazzwise
"Salt of the jazz earth and highly enjoyable"Barry Witherdon,Jazz review.
