Album Notes

An eclectic mix of Beatles' tunes written before the end of 1965, done SFUZZI style. Arrangements include everything from jazz voicings to hard Reggae groove. Harmony arrangements are done with a unique flavor, and several rather obscure tunes are included as a tribute and rediscovery of the Lennon/McCartney early years of melodic genius.

Veteran Northwest USA musicians collaborate with Italian (Torino) jazz musicians to rediscover the melodic genius of early Lennon/McCartney compositions. A chance encounter in Nice, France on the Day of Music, Summer 2001, led to this ongoing collaboration.

Several other Sfuzzi East/West projects are available, including The Reluctant Prophet (an early Dylan tribute), and Spaghetti Western (country western classics and original tunes).
