Album Notes

Born in Bloomington, IN in 1969, the Screaming Gypsy Bandits were a loose knit musical collective. Defacto leader and songwriter, Mark Bingham, collaborated the with dozens of musicians who were in and out of the band during its 4 year history. SGB performed regularly in dorms, coffee houses,
concert halls, festivals, and political rallies.

this really takes me back to b'ton early 70s. great to hear caroline peyton's vocals again. excellent extended guitar and sax interplay. captures a sense of the live act. wright quad, yeah. the album has a sort of zappa/beefheart feel in places.
