SHACK is a songwriter. A man of the World. A visionary. A prophet in his own mind. He makes fun sounds. He was thrown out of the Fargo music conservatory for eating balute (read: dead bird) in the girls dormitory while dressed as the woman's choir director. He was physically thrown out of another for being the male tenor sax in the all girls choir. He claims he finally got his music degree from WHATSAMATTA University. He works mainly with synthesizers, guitar, tape recorder & voice to conjure up fun sounding stuff. This music is currently available in CDR format using Taiyo Yuden best media and replicated by EYE RECORDS.com.

This is his first CD. He mastered it entirely on a TASCAM Portastudio P01 using a ROLAND D-20 keyboard, ESP M155 electric guitar, kalimba, and vocals performed on a $20 RADIO SHACK microphone. Mr. Shackleford has skillfully arranged this collection of high energy SCROUNGE (Cincinnati's educated punk rock). A style unique to him.

Actually this CD contains two styles of music by him. Titles like MY HOTDOG and LUCKYMAN, etc. are not SCROUNGE ROCK. They are basically experiments in sound. The raw guitar and brash vocals utilizing his own inverted (invented) language is where SCROUNGE shakes it's head at you! It IS intended to be PLAYED LOUD on HIGH END equipment (sounds to krappy on the computer speakers or boom box) and is not for the faint of heart. So, if you are a frail old lady or a wuss, don't bother. It is also not meant for kids under 15 years old. Some 4 letter words.
