Album Notes
'Evening witch' is the debut album of up-and-coming Polish producer Shadowfinder.

Largely consisting of dreamy and lush elements, this album and its tracks will evoke images in your head and let your mind wander along the depths of your imagination to a world full of excitement, emotions and strange far-out places. Image the pleasant hum of a city in the distance at night while you're lying in bed somewhere in a cabin on the countryside. The sounds of the city mix with the crickets singing their song and your mind floats away...

Shadowfinder's style can be described as a mixture between ambient, shoegaze and slightly rougher electronic beats. The album features a large part of the immensely popular Tiny frog series, a collection of short imaginative electronic tracks about the life and adventures of a little frog in a random swamp.

A short excerpt from a review of the title track 'Tiny frog can't sleep' by Poland's largest music maker magazine, 'Estrada i Studio':
'Lenght of the track: 3'46. Why am I pointing this out? Because in this short amount of time everything has been ideally told from beginning till the end. The history of the tiny frog managed to interest and overwhelm me. This is a beautifully construed electronic miniature, which has been put together without needless fireworks. The sound mastering and the artistic choice of sounds are fantastic and the track features subtle details which can only be heard after the third time around, and this is a very positive sign. This month I'm putting all my money on this recording' - Tomasz Hajduk, Estrada i Studio

If you enjoy lying down and listening to music, rather than just having it as background and the sounds of Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Siouxsie & the Banshees or Biosphere, Air, Funki Porcini and Faithless are able to enchant you, then this album is definetely one for you!

Evening witch starring tiny frog is one of those albums that hits you after listening to it a few times.
Very pleasant and soothing ambient with a little mixture of DnB or even junglish beats. And here is my 1st remark – consistency of the whole album. I get a feeling that Shadowfinder wanted to tell us a certain story but it didn’t come out quite as expected.
On the other hand, for a debut album it is a nice mixture that makes you curious how he will evolve as an artist.
Couple of tracks are too raw, like “Till the summer is gone”. It’s a pity because it has a potential.
Overall it is a good album of an upcoming producer that puts some fresh blood into genre. I would recommend it to anyone looking to submerge into deep and vast emotional landscapes with a positive vibe.
Keep it going and waiting for your next album.

Cheers mate!
