Album Notes

ShadowLord, was created out of the rubble of many different heavy metal and hard rock bands I was part of during the 80's and 90's. None of which got much recognition. ShadowLord is not a band. It is the misconception of one man, a few guitars, some drums, a computer and a little imagination.
ShadowLord's musical style was shaped by many. Influences range from Led Zeppelin, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and UFO to Rainbow, Pat Travers and Gary Moore. The music is a mixture of all of these with a little Metallica thrown in the mix. Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes, Michael Schenker, Jimmy Page and Richie Blackmoore have been big factors in ShadowLord's sound. These songs are typical of Heavy Metal music from the 1990's.
Big guitar sound, pounding rhythms, blazing lead guitars and haunting melodies describe this music well. Sorry, no upbeat, happy little songs here.
