Album Notes
Shadow Of The Sun was formed in 2011. This is their debut album 'Monument'. A year in the making, the lads have rehearsed, toured, & thoroughly road-tested this material. Their songs have been crafted on the stage & sculpted in the studio. The result is over 50 minutes of groundbreaking & breathtaking music.

Their musical style ranges from dark, heavy, riff-driven grooves to sublime, balladesque moments of beauty.

"Shadow Of The Sun plough a very unique furrow mixing heavy metal with tripped out prog rock and adding a hearty dose of virtuoso playing. So they have a sound that spans Tool, Floyd, Soundgarden and beyond... it is easy to see that with the right breaks this is a band that could really do something huge. They are truly an asset to the Welsh rock scene." - Matt Bladen
