It was a cold and wintery night, but the crowd that packed into the Berkshire Blues Cafe wanted a show, and that is exactly what was given to them.

From the first notes of Welcome To The Real World, to the final chord of Ascension, Shadow Pointe played their concept album Reason Beyond Acceptance from start to finish. One moment they were captivating the crowd with melodic bliss, the next was urging a near mob scene on the floor with the aggressiveness of the music.

Throughout the entire night the band stayed true to both the studio album and keeping the crowd entertained. It had been months since the recording was done and the songs had already started to evolve and change, feeding the entertainment live.

If there is one thing to be said about Shadow Pointe it is that they can certainly play live. At times when many bands put on watered-down live shows you'll never be able to say that Shadow Pointe belongs in a studio.

This CD captures the essence of Shadow Pointe, and shows what true musicians can do live when playing music they love to fans they admire.
